The end of the world in a one-night stand.

Curated by French-born multi-disciplinary artist Cloé Fournier, APACTALYPTIC brings together some of Sydney’s most provocative artists to examine, explore and reflect on the ends of the world.

Throughout the evening, APACTALYPTIC presents a curious collection of performances including dance, theatre, circus, music, video and visual art – and invite audiences to participate and revel in the trappings of life itself.

“I remember living through 1999 thinking I was going to die because Nostradamus said so!” said Fournier. “But as much as it has been predicted more than once, we are still here. At present, the end of the world sometimes seems like it’s all around us. What I’m excited to ask is – what does this word ‘end’ really mean?”

Survival Tip 1: In this apocalyptic setting, it is strongly advised to come dressed to survive. Who knows who will make it through the night?

PACT Salon:
One-night mini-festivals showcasing new works by Sydney's most compelling early career performance, visual and media artists. Salons are where art, party and critical dialogue collide to a unique interactive experience. Salons encourage artists and audiences to be curious, daring and inquisitive. PACT is producing four Salons in 2018, each one programmed by a different curatorial team.

PACT Salons are supported by the City of Sydney through the Cultural Grants Program and the NSW State Government through Create NSW.
